Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and focused Account Manager with excellent communication skills.

This role is crucial in supporting our organisation with proactive sales management of a set of EMEA Channel Partners in hardware and airtime sales. This includes identifying growth initiatives in order to increase Channel Partner market share across the suite of AST Networks services, solutions, and products.

Being successful in this role will require the ability to work collaboratively with other internal teams to deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Previous account management experience is essential.

The key responsibilities of the role, as the AST Networks primary point of contact, will include (but are not limited to):

  • Deliver a clear growth plan to increase business with AST Networks chosen EMEA Channel Partners with the Head of Sales.
  • Proactive account management to allocated Channel Partners.
  • Provide industry-leading customer service.
  • Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within your Channel Partners.
  • Enhance partnerships by ensuring regular customer communication.
  • Collaboration with internal teams and external partners/suppliers/customers to ensure best customer experience and high customer satisfaction.
  • Analyse customer profitability and provide monthly reports.
  • Qualify all significant customer opportunities of AST Networks Services and Solutions and identify areas for up-sell/cross-sell.
  • Provide clear and accurate CRM quotations.
  • Effectively promote AST Networks Value Added Services.
  • Achieve/exceed quarterly and annual SMART KPIs.

Essential Experience

  • Experience in sales/sales operations account management.
  • From a background in the communications/technology sector.
  • Effective and strong communication skills, both oral and written and when presenting.
  • Ability to efficiently manage multiple customer projects, whilst maintaining sharp attention to detail.
  • Consultative selling skills using relationship building techniques.
  • Understanding of business dynamics, able to gain full appreciation of a customer’s business.
  • Ability to proactively execute sales initiates and close business.
  • Have knowledge and experience in using Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Customer centric.
