The Intellian OW50M unlocks reliable satellite connectivity at sea to ensure vessel operators and crew can access superior high-speed, low-latency connectivity for business and welfare requirements.

Leveraging the Iridium Certus® satellite network, SkyLink Citadel provides two HD voice lines and the ability to send and receive emails from a connected laptop (ASTs onsatmail is an ideal compressed email solution). The mid-band data rate offers 88 kbps download and 22 kbps upload.

The Intellian OW50M unlocks reliable satellite connectivity at sea to ensure vessel operators and crew can access superior high-speed, low-latency connectivity for business and welfare requirements.

Designed for numerous maritime use cases, where space is at a premium, the smaller size of the OW50M is ideal for smaller commercial fishing vessels, merchant shipping or offshore energy rigs/platforms, ensuring critical comms and crew welfare needs a delivered.

The Intellian OW50M consists of two 53 cm mechanically steered antennas that operate in a Primary-Primary mode, providing increased flexibility for blockage mitigation which helps to maintain the integrity of the high-speed data transfer and ensures low latency and link optimisation.

The terminal's advanced stabilisation platform supports seamless and undisrupted connectivity, which enables smooth, reliable handovers between satellites - all but eliminating data loss.

Available in two variants - with or without a heating device - ensures that even in extreme cold, the OW50M provides dependable performance down to -40 degrees Celsius with the heating module variant.

Vessel operators will appreciate the quick and easy terminal deployment, meaning vessel downtime and costs are minimised.
