The docking station for ICOM IC-SAT100 enables an effective vehicular or in-building mounting option for the ICOM IC-SAT100 Satellite Radio (available separately via AST)

While screws are included to allow for mounting the unit to a suitable location, it may be preferable to use another mounting option (particularly in-vehicle). It is possible to use a third party mounting option using the screw holes on the charger's rear panel (the screw hole configuration uses the standard AMPS hole pattern and could facilitate using a ball mount etc.).

The docking station for ICOM IC-SAT100 also features an anti-theft function compatible when using the supplied wiring harness to connect to the vehicle electrics; this will sound the vehicle horn if unauthorized removal, of the ICOM IC-SAT100 from the cradle, is detected.

NOTE: the ICOM IC-SAT100 Satellite Radio is not included with the docking station.
