The unit fits perfectly in any hand with or without gloves. Large tactile buttons make it easy to operate even in a harsh environment at sea and the large backlit display is easy to read, even at night where the red backlight prevents disturbance of the user's night vision.

The SAILOR SP3515 is waterproof, IP67 rated (submersible to 1/2 meter for 1.2 hour) and offers scrambler and CTCSS (signalling used in Private Mobile Radio).
